I personally was not aware of the publisher of this article, but I have learned that she has independently published a parent education book, which leads me to assume she is full of knowledge surronding this topic. This article is full of knowledge and information. Although it does not contain data facts, such as percentages, this would be a good article for research. It gives full detail about both subjects (abuse and punishment). Throughout this article there is no bias present. This article will surely help with my research paper. My personal belief relates to the the main focus on the article, "is is punishment, or is it abuse?"
